The Eagle Eye: 2/29/2024

Happy Thursday! The latest issue of The Eagle Eye is now available. The Eagle Eye is Eagle Ridge Academy’s translatable community newsletter that is published every other Thursday during the school year. It is a great resource to see important updates and learn what is happening around the school. Here’s a preview of what you’ll find in this week’s Eagle Eye:

  • Proposed Grades 3-5 Latin Change Updates. The Eagle Ridge Academy Latin department and CISA (Curriculum, Instruction, and Student Achievement) are committed to providing the most effective and valuable educational experience for our students in alignment with our Classical Model and Vision for Eagle Ridge Academy. In an effort to continue current information regarding proposed changes to our Latin program for grades 3-5, a brief summary from the past few weeks and what to expect in the days ahead can be found inside the issue.
  • New Family Classical Conversation Wednesday, March 13. Admissions Specialist Janice Gerheart, Director of Development Kelly Schiffman, Classical Coordinator Suzannah Toso, and a number of established ERA parents will host an informal gathering – intended for families new to ERA in the last two years – on March 13. • Congratulations, Fall 2023 Olympus Club Members. Congratulations to 181 students in grades 6-8 and 150 students in grades 9-12 for admittance into the Fall 2023 Olympus Club. Admittance into the Olympus Club appropriately reflects the endless hours these students have spent securing a 2023-24 first semester grade point average of a 3.33 or above, along with embodying the CIPHER pillars on a daily basis. See the list of members inside the issue.
