Facilities Information

Eagle Ridge Academy is pleased to offer rental use of its facility to the community. View our spaces available to rent at the toggles to the right.

The Athletic Fields at Eagle Ridge Academy include a U12 soccer field and two fenced tennis courts.

The Auditorium at Eagle Ridge Academy seats 417 audience members and has been used to host concerts, plays, speakers, and movie screenings. Renters has access to the light and sound booth, choir risers, and chairs and music stands if requested.

Classrooms of various sizes are available for rent and include projector capabilities, desks, chairs, and whiteboards.

The Forum and Solarium at Eagle Ridge Academy include tables. The kitchen may be utilized by trained renters.

The Gymnasium at Eagle Ridge Academy features a full-sized basketball court, fold down bleachers, and an upper walking track. There is capability to divide the gym in half using a drop-down divider.

Annual Lead-in-Water Notification

Eagle Ridge Academy is committed to providing a safe and healthful learning and work environment for all our students and staff. In accordance with Minnesota Statute 121A.335, the Minnesota Department of Health and the Minnesota Department of Education, Eagle Ridge Academy has implemented its Lead-in-Water Plan. The Plan includes a program of lead in water testing, lead hazard reduction options and communications.

Eagle Ridge Academy performs lead-in-water testing in school buildings every five years. The testing reports for individual schools are available on the MPS website/departments/environmental health & safety/lead in water. Reports are also available by contacting Operations Manager Karen Conner at kconner@eagleridgeacademy.org or (952) 746-7760 ext. 1112. The 2024 report is available here. Dan Hogan is the father of two Eagle Ridge Academy students.
Education:
Bachelor degree in Accounting from Mankato State University
Master’s in Business Taxation from University of Minnesota
Licensed CPA
Bio:
Dan served as treasurer on the Eagle Ridge Academy Affiliated Building Company for the last two years.
Dan is the VP of Tax/Chief Financial Officer of North Central Equity LLC (NCE). He is responsible for all accounting and tax related functions for NCE. Main duties include accounting processes and procedures, banking, cashflow, review and consolidation of financials, managing the external audit process, financial structuring and due diligence on acquisitions and start-up entities, completion of all income tax returns, and special projects on a “as needed” basis.
NCE is a holding company that currently manages seven stand-alone businesses. These businesses range from a value-added reseller of computer equipment, a contract egg producer, an egg breaking plant, a food processing plant, a business that designs and builds molds for the plastic injection industry, a manufacturer of air inflated sports structures, and a manufacturer of large industrial saws for the woodworking industry.

Kevin and his wife have 3 sons. Their oldest son (Jeremy) is the Head Athletic Trainer for St. Louis Park High School. (His wife is a teacher at Athlos Leadership Academy in Brooklyn Park) Jason and Austin both attended Eagle Ridge Academy.

Licensed to sell Real-estate in Minnesota (Not currently licensed)
Certified to teach CPR & Automated External Defibrillators (AED) (Not currently certified)
Project Manager for 2 different Construction Companies. One specialized in light commercial construction and fire/storm restoration. The other specialized in millwork and store fixture installations all over the country. (Numerous installations for Disney Studio Stores and Pottery Barn)
For the last 16 years I have been a Product Manager for Activar Construction Products Group. We are a 50+ year old company specializing in the manufacturing of Fire Extinguisher cabinets, access panels, roof hatches, AED cabinet and a variety of products for interior doors (vision frames, door louvers, door hardware and door edges). We are also a major distributor for Fire Extinguishers and all types (fire rated & non-fire rated) interior door glazing. (I have enclosed a listing of products we manufacture)
I am interested in serving on the board for the following reasons. First and foremost I agree with the mission and methods of Eagle Ridge Academy and I would like to do all I can to see that it’s successful not just this year but for many years to come. Secondly I have unique set of skills in both commercial construction project managing and commercial construction products which will allow me to assist/advise as needed as the new building moves forward in the coming year.

Angela Berger is an ERA parent of a student going into 7th grade next year and started Eagle Ridge in 3rd grade. She has a son who will be entering kindergarten. As a parent with a long-term vested interest in the school, she is excited about possible opportunities for expansion but also realizes this can present challenges, particularly with physical space requirements. Angela interested in helping guide Eagle Ridge in any direction it chooses.
Angela brings with her a 20 year background in banking, including working as a regulator, bank manager and serving as a bank auditor for 15 years. She was a non-voting member and attended Bank Board of Director meetings monthly for eight years. Her Husband and her owned and managed a four-plex investment property for the last fifteen years. Angela ran a small business for five years renting out a cabin they purchased for weekend retreats. She has a good understanding of financing, insurance and maintenance of a property and would like to contribute that knowledge and experience to the Eagle Ridge ABC.
Angela served as the secretary of the ABC this past year.
