  • Tempus Online Academy Enrollment Application Due September 22. Due to significant initial interest in an online learning option, Eagle Ridge Academy is working toward opening of the Tempus (meaning “time or season” in Latin) Online Academy (TOA) by October 25, 2021. The formal enrollment application for TOA must be completed by Wednesday, September 22, 2021 so so we can finalize student schedules and staffing. Enrollment will be determined by our ability to hire teachers. These plans are pending Board approval. The Board will discuss TOA at the workshop on Monday, September 20 and then consider/approve on September 28, 2021. Another Gryphon Conversation will be held on September 21, at 12:30 p.m. to inform you of the latest updates regarding Tempus Online Academy.
  • Senior Erik T. Named National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist. On September 15, 2021 senior Erik T. was named one of approximately 16,000 Semifinalists in the 67th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. The nationwide pool of Semifinalists, representing less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors, includes the highest-scoring entrants of the 2020 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test in each state. National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $30 million that will be offered next spring.
