The Eagle Eye: 4/4/2024

Happy Thursday! The latest issue of The Eagle Eye is now available. The Eagle Eye is Eagle Ridge Academy’s translatable community newsletter that is published every other Thursday during the school year. It is a great resource to see important updates and learn what is happening around the school. Here’s a preview of what you’ll find in this week’s Eagle Eye:

  • Message from Executive Director Jason About Upcoming Solar Eclipse. There will be a solar eclipse on Monday, April 8. Minnesotans will have a partial view of the eclipse with a peak that begins at 2:02 p.m. and ends at 3:14 p.m.  An eclipse can be a captivating astronomical event to witness. However, there are safety considerations and potential dangers associated with observing a solar eclipse. After serious consideration, Eagle Ridge Academy will take a cautious approach. Learn more about Eagle Ridge Academy’s safety plans for the eclipse inside the issue.
  • Thank You for Participating in Pillar Week 2024. Each year during Pillar Week, planned by the Upper School Student Senate, the ERA community is encouraged to recognize the six ERA Pillars (Citizenship, Integrity, Perseverance, Honor, Excellence, and Respect) and be intentional about putting them into action regularly.
