The Battle of the Books is a reading competition in grades 3, 4, and 5, in which “battlers” will compete in teams of 6 to answer trivia-style questions about 12 books that they have read from the Round 1 book list. There are 84 students participating, in 14 teams. The five top-scoring teams will advance to Round 2 and read a new set of books; the Round 2 competition will be held at ERA in April. The top team from Round 2 will go on to compete against other FoE schools in May at St. Croix Prep. This event will be livestreamed.
