Join us on Thursday, May 2 from 5:30-7:15 p.m. for the Spring State of the Academy, which will include annual updates along with Upper School and Activities updates and a Tasting Event with Taher, our school lunch provider.
The evening will start at 5:30 p.m. with time to mingle and a sampling of food from Taher, our school lunch provider. We invite you to join us for an informative evening of community engagement!
Jason Ulbrich, Executive Director, will present the annual State of the Academy Address beginning at 6:00 p.m. Topics to be covered will include academic progress, financial health, extracurricular activities, goal progress from 2018-19, and opportunities for growth for 2019-20. There will also be a Questions and Answer session.
The Upper School Update section will feature Susan Bloomgren, Director of Academics, and Dr. Bruce Locklear, Principal of the Schools of Logic and Rhetoric, addressing the topics of expanded academic offerings, changes in the Latin requirement for graduation, and changes in weighted grades.
Kris Babler, Activities Director, will give an update about the Gryphon Youth Sports League (GYSL).
