What is Skyhawks Afterschool Care?
Skyhawks is an after-school care program for Eagle Ridge Academy students enrolled in kindergarten through sixth grade. Skyhawks Sports MN partners with Eagle Ridge Academy in a shared vision to develop the whole student to be confident, healthy, and respectful individuals ready for all that life has to throw at them.
During Skyhawks after-school care, students will have the opportunity to eat a snack, work on homework, and participate in various activities and crafts. Additionally, Skyhawks will promote physical health while carrying out their mission of teaching life skills through sports. Skyhawks aims to teach the basics of sports, while emphasizing life skills such as teamwork, respect, responsibility, and leadership. This will be carried out through daily sports and/or organized games.
After-school care is available at Eagle Ridge Academy for grades K-6 students for $18/day on regular school days (Monday-Friday, 3:20-6:00 p.m.) and $35/day on non-school days (8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.).
This year, Skyhawks will be offering full-day programs on school-wide days off. This program will run from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and will be listed on the registration calendar as a Non-School Day option. All-day programming will be unavailable during school breaks and all Federal holidays.
Skyhawks after-school programs require prepayment upon registering for the month, week, or day. Registration for the upcoming month will be available on the tenth day of the month prior. Families will register for childcare via the Skyhawks website. Please note that the current website has moved to a more efficient and user-friendly platform. All families will need to create a new account, regardless of previous registration.
To create an account, click on this link and follow the prompts. If this link does not work, please visit www.skyhawks.com and click on the Search Fall on New Site banner on the top of the screen. From there, you will be directed to the new platform. Click the Login button at the top right corner and then click on Register for an Account on the right side of the screen to create your account.
Steps to Register for Childcare:
- Click Find My Program at the top of the screen. This will bring you to a running list of all programs offered.
- On the left side of the screen, filter your search as follows:
- Enter 55343 in the zip code field.
- In the Sports field, scroll to the bottom and select After School/Extended Day Programs.
- You will see two offerings: Eagle Ridge Monthly and Eagle Ridge Weekly/Daily.
- Select View Details on the Eagle Ridge Weekly/Daily offering and scroll to the bottom calendar.
- You have the option to register your child(ren) for the full week or for daily childcare. To add to cart, click on your listings of choice. A customer account is required prior to adding products to the cart.
- Moving forward, registration for the upcoming month will be available on the tenth day of the month prior. For example, September registration will be accessible on August 10.
