Join Eagle Ridge Academy on Saturday, August 5 for a day of community-building and volunteering to prepare for the 2017-18 school year. Categories for volunteer work include landscaping, cleaning, maintenance / construction, administrative / office work, and lunch food prep / clean-up. Please note that childcare will not be provided.
Schedule of Events:
8:45 am: Check-in begins
9:00 – 11:30 am: AM Volunteer Shift
11:30 am – 12:00 pm: Complimentary Lunch for Volunteers
12:00 – 2:30 pm: PM Volunteer Shift
Another option for Volunteer Saturday is the donation of various items to help us beautify our building and sustain our grounds. We would be grateful for donations of specific items. Or, if you prefer to donate financially, we will put toward the purchase of the following items. Landscaping / Plant Life
- Two (2) Sugar Maple trees
- Hostas
- Perennials for spring bloom (flowering bulbs such as snowdrops, bluebells, daffodils, tulips, crocuses, and anemones)
- Late summer/fall blooms – annual or perennial (mums, asters, rudbeckia, sedum, Russian sage)
- Climbing Ivy plants – all season
- All Purpose potting soil
- Watering cans
- Four (4) benches for entrances
