Ben Montville will speak during the gala program. Ben attended Eagle Ridge Academy for 13 years (K-12) and graduated in 2024. Itisha Budamagunta, School of Logic sixth grader and three-time City of Eden Prairie Words in Action contest winner, will share her inspiration behind the art pieces and her hopes to put her words into action at the gala. Ritisha Raju, School of Logic seventh grader, will perform at the gala. Karen Sorbo will once again emcee and lead the auction, and The Jon de Vaal Trio will perform during the gala social hour.

P.S. Wish your school portrait turned out as good as our principals' this year? Students in grades K-12 may retake school portraits at school tomorrow, October 28. Formal dress is required for school portraits. Teachers will ask students if they are taking retakes and will direct them to get their photos taken; no other action needs to be taken prior to Retake Day.

The Schools of Logic & Rhetoric celebrated their 3rd Annual Crocktoberfest during their Professional Development Day yesterday. 🍲🍂 Teachers and staff wore their coziest flannels and brought crockpot meals to share, spending the lunch hour in connection with each other prior to Fall Break. Thank you to School of Logic teacher Ms. Johnson for hosting this annual fall festival! As a reminder, there is no school for the remainder of the week. Designed to build unity, inspire character, and foster healthy competition, the House System connects students across grade levels and backgrounds into three distinct Houses each with its own identity, values, and legacy. Rooted in the three pursuits of a Classical education using the Latin translations of "Truth, Goodness, and Beauty - Vertias, Probitas, Pulchritudo", the system provides a sense of belonging and pride while encouraging leadership, teamwork, and service.
Special thanks to School of Logic Principal Mr. Pelofske and Assistant Principal Mrs. Madigan for organizing the House System and sorting ceremonies, and our Eagle Ridge Academy PTO for partnering with the House System to provide start-up funds for the sorting ceremony. Stay tuned: the PTO will continue to partner with the House System to develop House-themed spirit wear and other accessories!
