Eagle Ridge Academy was featured in The New York Times this past Sunday! Earlier this spring, American Journalist and Author James Traub spent a couple of days in the hallways and classrooms at the Academy, learning more about a Classical education looks like in Minnesota. Read the opinion piece here.
"In many ways, the article describes the tension of our time: a culture marked by division, competing viewpoints, and a growing uncertainty about the role of schools in shaping young people. And yet, right in the middle of that tension, it points to something remarkable happening here at Eagle Ridge," shared Chief Executive Officer Jason Ulbrich to faculty and staff on Sunday, " It points to you!"
We are honored to have been featured so positively on the national stage and want to thank our faculty and staff for how they represent Eagle Ridge Academy (School of Rhetoric Humanities teacher Jeremiah Lemon, School of Grammar Kindergarten teacher Paige Schneider, and School of Logic Science teacher are quoted in the article!) not just in the large moments of recognition, but in the quiet, steady work they do every day to form the next generation of citizens.
Thank you to our community for your continued trust and support. Together, we will continue to nurture character as well as intelligence, and to always pursue what is true, good, and beautiful. #GoGryphons #ClassicalEducation
