Dear Eagle Ridge Academy Community,
I am thrilled to share that Eagle Ridge Academy has earned the AP® School Honor Roll Platinum Award, the highest recognition given by the College Board. Even more remarkable: only four public schools in the state of Minnesota earned this distinction and 8% of American schools earn this distinction.
This award recognizes schools that successfully expand access to Advanced Placement® courses while ensuring students are truly prepared to succeed. Platinum status is not about exclusivity; it is about opening doors and then helping students walk confidently through them.
At Eagle Ridge, we have been intentional about broad access to AP coursework, paired with strong academic preparation, thoughtful advising, and high expectations. The results speak for themselves:
87.5% of our students demonstrated proficiency
Students receiving economic benefits achieved an 87% proficiency rate, powerfully affirming that opportunity and excellence can and do go hand in hand
This achievement is a testament to our community's collective work, and I want to offer special thanks to:
Our School of Rhetoric teachers, whose commitment to rigor, clarity, and student formation made this possible
Our parents, for their partnership and trust
Academic & College Counselor Mrs. Kaiser, Principal Johnson, and Chief of Staff Mrs. Bloomgren, whose leadership, coordination, and steady excellence were instrumental in this success
Our students for taking a risk and working hard
This recognition reflects something deeper than an award. It affirms that our mission, grounded in high expectations for all, is working.
Sincerely,
Jason Ulbrich, Eagle Ridge Academy Chief Executive Officer
