U.S. News & World Report Names Eagle Ridge Academy a Top 5 Minnesota High School

Eagle Ridge Academy has again been named one of the best high schools in the state and the country by earning the 2019 U.S. News & World Report Best High Schools Medal and Charter Medal.

The 2019 report ranked Eagle Ridge Academy as the fifth best high school in the state out of 416 schools recognized and 379th in the country out of 17,245 schools recognized. This year marks the seventh year in a row U.S. News & World Report has honored Eagle Ridge Academy.

U.S. News & World Report used a new methodology in determining their school rankings this year, which included six indicators of school success—college readiness, college curriculum breadth, math and reading proficiency and performance, underserved student performance, and graduation rates. 2019 awards were derived from 2016-2017 school year data.

“The highest-ranked schools are those whose students excelled on state tests and performed beyond expectations; participated in and passed a variety of college-level exams; and graduated in high proportions,” U.S. News & World Report shared in a news release.

We are proud of our students for continuing to excel and achieve our mission by demonstrating their best in academic achievement, behavior, and attitude while striving to attain their highest potential.
