The Eagle Eye: 12/03/2020

This week’s issue of the Eagle Eye newsletter is ready to read! This year, the Eagle Eye is being published on Smore, a platform that allows newsletters to be translated into any language on Google Translate. We are hoping this allows important school information to be shared with even more of our families.

Here’s a preview of what you’ll find inside the newest issue:

  • The ERA Annual Door Decorating Contest Starts Next Week! This year, we will be holding our Third Annual (First Virtual!) Door Decorating Contest. Students will be able to participate in class and at home. This year’s theme is “Where is Gus the Gryphon?”. Decorating will begin on Dec. 7 and submissions will be accepted the week of Dec. 14.
  • Register Now for Virtual Activities! The first deadline to register for Virtual Theatre Workshops with directors Ms. Michels and Ms. Bixby is TODAY! Upper School students are invited to sign up now for Audition Coaching & Stage Makeup and Radio Plays. Students in grades 8-12 can also sign up to join a virtual Dungeons & Dragons Club this winter, and more information about Virtual Chess Club is coming soon.
  • View the 2019-2020 Annual Report. Did you know that students attended Eagle Ridge Academy from 31 different school districts last year? Learn more in the 2019-2020 Annual Report.
  • December Take-Home Meals & Childcare Menus. Take a look at the menus and please plan to pre-order Take-Home Meals at the beginning of every week. As a reminder, we expect free meal service to discontinue in January. Read on to learn how you can apply for free or reduced lunch and help support Eagle Ridge Academy by applying before Dec. 15.

Read on for more, and have a wonderful rest of your week.
