First graders will visit the Minnesota Zoo as a culmination of their year-long unit on animals, especially endangered species, which the Minnesota Zoo works to conserve and protect.

School of Grammar kindergarten classes will visit Gale Woods Farm on Wednesday, May 8, 8:20 - 11:45 a.m. While there, students will learn about lambs, gardens, and chickens, make connections, and review all the knowledge they learned from the CKLA farms units.

Fifth grade students will visit Fort Snelling in connection with their history units on Westward Expansion, the Civil War, and Exploration.
