Enrollment Process (governed by MN charter school law)

• Attend a school tour or informational meeting.

• Submit the online Initial Interest Form for the year you would like your student to attend.  You must complete a separate form for each child.
  2011-2012 Initial Interest Form
  
  • Students must be 5 years old as of September 1, 2011 to enroll in Kindergarten, no exceptions.
  • If the Initial Interest Form was received between October 1, 2010 and January 15, 2011, sibling preference will apply during the January 2011 lottery process.
  • If the Initial Interest Form is received after January 15, 2011, sibling preference does not apply and your student will be placed at the end of the wait list.
  2012-2013 Initial Interest Form
  
  • Student must be 5 years old as of September 1, 2012 to enroll in Kindergarten.
  • If the Initial Interest Form is received between October 1, 2011 and January 15, 2012, sibling preference will apply during the January 2012 lottery process.
  • If the Initial Interest Form is received after January 15, 2012, sibling preference does not apply and your student will be placed at the end of the wait list.

• When you are offered a spot, you will complete the online Enrollment Form by the stated date and begin classes within 10 days.
  

• If you are on a wait list, you will be notified via e-mail when a spot becomes available.

 Please note:

First preference is given to children of staff members.
A lottery is held if we receive more Initial Interest Forms than we have open spots.
Wait lists cannot be carried over from one year to the next.
Please do not fill out an Initial Interest Form for students already enrolled at Eagle Ridge Academy.
